this game was created during Bratislava Game Jam 2022 where it won the audience award 🎉
RELOAD 2 REMEMBER is a game for the Playdate.
That's a handheld console with a crank! You don't need the Playdate to play the game, though it sure is the best way to do it!!

WHAT:
You wake up in white darkness of a fog around you. You don’t know where nor who you are, but the fact that you are holding a sawed-off shotgun wakes up some memories. Not good ones.
HOW:
Your mind gets a bit foggy.
But you'll remember.
You know how to play.
(if you don't have a playdate console, use the mouse wheel or touchpad to simulate the crank. give it one good full crank.)
HOW LOUD:
Very.
Blast those tunes.

Install instructions
download the Playdate SDK https://play.date/dev/ it will install a very cute Playdate Simulator, so you can crank away, even if you don't have the console!
the Simulator opens .pdx files (which is what this is) it's all very yellow and simple and fun!!

Dude, this game is amazing. It just needs a little bit of polishing and a couple of improvements. I would be willing to buy a copy of this game if it were completed.

Such a cool game! Great use of the crank and super addictive arcade gameplay.
i noticed that there’s a not-insignificant stutter in the loop of the background animation. would you be willing to clean up the loop?
As it is, it’s a bit distracting. I think this game could be a great addition to Playdate’s official games Catalog if there were just a touch of polish added
